I have a large living room, what type of lighting should I use?

I have a living area that has never been used except for eyes, and I would use it as a main lounge. This is called a den is approx. X 32ft 16ft. I have an old chandelier hanging from the center. It uses 7 light bulbs, but do not put off enough light to any room. I wondered what kind luminaire I could use to make the room brighter.

If you currently have one chandelier, you probably have a single box junction (the junction box is what gives power to your light fixture). A good option to simply provide more light would be to install floodlights on track (I know it sounds like a clap of the 1980s, but bear with me). Track lighting can allow you to use the existing j-box and the light spreads throughout the room. And he has come a long way since the 80s. Check out IKEA.
